Ellora

The paintings at Ellora covered the ceilings and walls of the mandapas and represent not only the iconographic forms but also the lovely floral designs and animals and birds entwinning in the patterns.The Nataraja here is a splendid example of chalukya type.The figure is multiarmed and the dance is in the chatura pose.The Jain cave towards the end of the group of caves at Ellora has its entire surface of ceiling and wall covered with paintings with a wealth detail.

KATHAKALI

https://vbbhagyaraj.blogspot.com The genesis of the word Kathakali is generally traced to a combination of Katha and Keli , the literal meaning of which is generally is dance-drama.This dance form, curiously ,is an exclusive domain of the male dancers.Even female roles in the story line are performed to perfection by male artists.The artists who perform Kathakali do not sing the lines themselves.The dance is performed all through the night on the stage which is simply yet specially designed for Kathakali.A large brass lantern is invariably hung on the stage.The beginning of the performance is preceded by Chaidakaran, a ritual playing of drums.

The face is mostly painted with red and yellow and the eyes and eye-lashes are adorned with lines in white all around.These white lines are known as cuttee.The head-dress in Kathakali is of special significance as it also defines the hierarchical status of different artists participating in the performance.

Dance is the physical expression of the emotive content of music. Dance is nearly as old as the human civilization is.Dances of India are a very important tourist attraction.Religious literature recognized dance as an important activity in the human search for god.The pleasure of dancing is in watching that music take bodily shape and express its meaning in a visual experience.It is a miracle of both movement and stillness ,of music and of silence , the dancer taking you into his/ her innermost confidence.

 ഓരോ പൌരനും സമൂഹത്തിന് വേണ്ടിയുള്ളതാണെന്നും സമൂഹത്തിൻ്റെ ഉത്തമതാൽപ്പര്യങ്ങളാണ് പൌരൻ്റേതെന്നുമുള്ള തിരിച്ചറിവാണ് പൌരബോധം.രാഷ്ട്ര പുരോഗതിയ്ക്ക് പൌരബോധം അനിവാര്യമാണ്.ഒരു ക്ഷേമ രാഷ്ട്ര രൂപികരണത്തിന് പൌരബോധം അനിവാര്യമാണ്.കുടുംബം, സംഘടനകൾ , വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം ,സാമൂഹിക വ്യവസ്ഥ , രാഷ്ട്രീയ വ്യവസ്ഥ എന്നിവയാണ് പൌരബോധത്തെ രൂപപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന ഘടകങ്ങൾ.

സാമൂഹിക നന്മ പൂർണ്ണമായും ഉൾകൊണ്ടുക്കൊണ്ടുള്ള ക്രീയാത്മക പ്രവർത്തനത്തിലൂടെയും ഇടപെടലുകളിലൂടെയും മാത്രമേ പൌരബോധം വളർത്താൻ കഴിയൂ.

ഓക്സിജൻ്റെ ഒരു രൂപാന്തരത്വമാണ് ഓസോൺ.സാധാരണയായി ഓക്സിജൻ രണ്ട് ആറ്റങ്ങൾ കൂടിച്ചേർന്ന് O2 രൂപത്തിൽ  ദ്വയാറ്റോമിക രൂപത്തിൽ കാണുമ്പോൾ ചിലപ്പോഴൊക്കെ ഓക്സിജൻ്റെ മൂന്ന് ആറ്റങ്ങൾ കൂടിച്ചേർന്ന് O3 തന്മാത്രയായി കാണപ്പെടുന്നു.അതായത് മൂന്ന് ഓക്സിജൻ ആറ്റങ്ങൾ കൂടിച്ചേരുമ്പോൾ അതിനെ ഓസോൺ എന്നു പറയുന്നു.

V.T.BHATTATHIRIPAD (1896-1982)

 He was born in 1896 in Kaippilly Mana at Kidangoor in Angamaly.He was the one who conducted the first mixed  race marriage in Brahmin Society.His drama ' Adukkalayilninnum Arangathekku' in 1929 was a turning point in the prevailing society.In 1931 V.T.Bhattathirippadu conducted ' Yachanayatra' from Thrissur to Chandragiri river,Kasargod to enable the poor children to get education.His works : Kannerum Kinavum( autobiography),Jeevitha Smaranakal,Pomvazhi,Kalathinte sakshi,Entemannu,Karinchantha,Vedivattam etc.He passed away in1982.

SWAMI ANANDA THEERTHAN (1905-19870

 Ananda Theerthan was born on 2 January 1905 in Thalassery.His real name was Ananda Shenoy .He was given the name Ananda Theerthan by Sree Narayana Guru at Sivagiri in 1928.He established Sree Narayana School in Payyannur in 1931.He promoted intercaste marriage through the Jthinashini Sabha founded in 1933.He Passed away in 1987.

രാം വിലാസ് പാസ്വാൻ അന്തരിച്ചു

 കേന്ദ്ര ഭക്ഷൃ മന്ത്രിയും ലോക ജനശക്തി പാർട്ടി (എൽ.ജെ.പി) നേതാവുമായ രാം വിലാസ് പാസ്വാൻ അന്തരിച്ചു.അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് 74 വയസ്സായിരുന്നു.അഞ്ചു പതിറ്റാണ്ടുകളായി  ബീഹാർ രാഷ്ട്രിയത്തിലും ദേശീയ രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തിലുമായി സജീവമായിരുന്നു.1989 വി.പി.സിങ്ങ് മന്ത്രി സഭ മുതൽ മിക്ക മന്ത്രി സഭകളിലും സ്ഥാനം നേടിയെടുത്തു.ബിരുദാനന്തര ബിരുദവും , നിയമ ബിരുദവും പൂർത്തിയാക്കിയ അദ്ദേഹം ബീഹാർ സിവിൽ സർവ്വീസ് പരീക്ഷ പാസായി ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി പോലീസ് സൂപ്രണ്ടായി നിയമനം നേടി.എന്നാൽ പാർശ്വവത്കരിക്കപ്പെട്ടവർക്കായി രാഷ്ട്രിയത്തിൽ ഇറങ്ങി.

സംയുക്ത സോഷൃലിസ്റ്റ് പാർട്ടിയിലൂടെ 1969-ൽ ബീഹാർ നിയമ സഭയിൽ എത്തി.ജയപ്രകാശ് നാരായണനിൽ ആകൃഷ്ടനായി 1974-ൽ ലോക് ദളിലേക്ക് മാറി.പിന്നീട് ജനതാ പാർട്ടിയിലെത്തി.1977-ൽ അഞ്ചു ലക്ഷം വോട്ടു നേടി ഹാജിപുര മണ്ഡലത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ലോക് സഭയിലെത്തി.2000 -ൽ എൽ.ജെ.പിക്കു രൂപം നൽകി.

OSCAR WILDE

Oscar Wilde was born on 16 th October ,1854 in Dublin , Ireland. He is a famous writer ,poet and playwright. He had his education in Trinity  College ,Dublin and Magdalen college , Oxford.His notable works include The Importance of Being Earnest ,The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Ballad of Reading Goal ,etc.He  was passed away on 30th November ,1900 in Paris, France. 

കേരള സിംഹം

ഇന്ത്യൻ സ്വാതന്ത്രൃ സമര ചരിത്രത്തിലെ വിസ്മരിക്കാൻ കഴിയാത്ത ഒരു നാമമാണ്  കേരള സിംഹം എന്ന് അറിയപ്പെട്ട പഴശ്ശിരാജയുടേത്.ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് രേഖകളിൽ' പൈച്ചിരാജ' യെന്നും' കൊട്ട്യോട്ട് രാജ' എന്നുമാണ് വിശേഷിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.പഴശ്ശി രാജാവിൻ്റെ ജീവിതം ഇതിവൃത്തമാക്കി സർദ്ദാർ കെ.എം. പണിക്കർ 'കേരള സിംഹം' എന്ന പേരിൽ ഒരു ചരിത്ര നോവൽ എഴുതിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.ബ്രിട്ടീഷുകാർക്ക് പിടികൊടുക്കാതെ തൻ്റെ വജ്ര മോതിരം വിഴുങ്ങി പഴശ്ശി രാജാവ് ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്തതായാണ് നോവലിലെ ഇതിവൃത്തം.

ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് ആധിപത്യത്തിനെതിരെ മലബാറിൽ നടന്ന ശക്തമായ ചെറുത്തു നിൽപ്പിന് നേതൃത്വം നൽകിയത് കോട്ടയം രാജകുടുംബത്തിലെ പഴശ്ശിരാജയാണ്.വയനാടിനു മേൽ ബ്രിട്ടീഷുകാർ അവകാശ വാദം ഉന്നയിച്ചപ്പോൾ ജനങ്ങളെ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച്  അതിനെതിരെ പോരാടി.ചെമ്പൻപോക്കർ , കൈതേരി അമ്പുനായർ ,എടച്ചേന കുങ്കൻ നായർ ,വയനാട്ടിലെ കുറിച്യ നേതാവായ തലക്കൽ ചന്തു എന്നിവരുടെ സഹായത്താൽ പഴശ്ശി ശക്തമായ ഒളിപ്പോർ നടത്തി.പോരാട്ടത്തിനിടയിൽ 1805 നവംബർ 30 ന് പഴശ്ശിരാജ വധിക്കപ്പെട്ടു.
