Melody(Raag)

 Melody(Raag) is also the caracteristic feature of Indian Music.Interestingly melody is not confined to India.but is the main element of the musical traditions in such countries as Iran,Arabia,Afghanistan,china etc.The various permutations and combinations of tese features give birth to the whole repertoire of raag music.The raagini,a sub-division of the raag,owes its genesis to the integration of this very element-te sensuousness.
